A message to our patients on Eye Related Medical Needs During COVID -19 Crisis

Our highest priority at Hopewell – Lambertville Eye is the health and safety of our patients, staff, and our community in which we serve.

We are closely following the guidance of the CDC, AOA, AAO, and other many other health organizations.

As such we are temporarily closed at least through April 4th and possibly till April 19th, 2020.

However, we are available by tele-medical consult for our established patients via remote phone service (609-213-5008) (not covered by insurance) or email: hopewelleye@kennethdaniels.net

Please send detailed information with name, address, DOB, allergies to medications, pharmacy of choice and images of the eye(s) for the doctor to review.

Please keep in mind, that if any patient is experiencing signs or symptoms of fever, cough, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing, if they have been potentially exposed to anyone with positive COVID tests – they should call 911 and present for COVID testing.

What symptoms indicate that you have an eye emergency? An eye emergency is when symptoms happen more suddenly and are a result of eye trauma or they affect your vision noticeably.

Symptoms can range from:

  • Eye pain to a sudden change to vision.
  • Eye infection Pain in / or around eye Sudden loss of vision
  • Sudden double vision Trauma Chemical or Debris into the eye
  • Sudden appearance of flashes.
  • Sudden appearance of spots/floaters.

If you experience any of these symptoms, please call immediately – but do not present to the office.

We are in this together and appreciate your understanding as we do our part during this challenging time.

We look forward to serving your eye health needs soon again.

Stay well – stay safe – stay positive.
